“As a recent Master of Public Health graduate specializing in Environmental Health, this experience allowed me to apply the knowledge and skills gained through my academic training to real-world public health challenges The stipend program provided support that allowed me to dedicate my time to meaningful public health projects and gain hands on experience in research, health communication, program support, and community engagement. Through this opportunity, I strengthened my skills in project coordination, data analysis, and public health education while expanding my understanding of the public health workforce. The experience reinforced my commitment to advancing health for all communities and pursuing a career focused on improving population health outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations.
